The City of Carpi

OUR CHURCH

Carpi is a quite big town in the north of Italy near Modena with about 6o,ooo inhabitants. It's famous for its knitwear and clothes factories.

There are some interesting monuments to see. One of them is the small Romanic church you are looking at here This church is very ancient there is a tower beside it. It's called the Sagra and it's really very nice.
This was the church of the Pios which are the lords of the town! Behind it you can see our school, which is just in the center of the town. It's very big, very old and ugly.
