My name is Oliver Ghidali and I was born in Brussels, Belgium. Belgium is a
small country located in Central Europe. It may be small but it is very
beautiful!! It Has many sites and attractions and is a popular vacation spot.
There are two major languages spoken there today: Flemish, and French. It has
a very rich culture and unique atmosphere. Come along on the tour of Belgium.

Brussels is the capital of Belgium. It is a very crowded city with about a
population of one million. Brussels is a city in which there is a variety of
ancient and new attractions. If it is the Grand Place or 17th century Guild
Houses, Brussels has one of the most magnificent city squares in the world.
Brussels is a very beautiful city. It is a city with class and elegance which
no one can take away.
Belgium is also known for its chocolates, ( Godiva) waffles, and beer. It
has many four star restaurants. Belgium also has a lot of museums which play
a very big role in Belgian culture. Belgium has very beautiful beaches lying
against the sparkling North Sea. The beaches are a very popular tourist site.
The 1995 Worlds Fair was held in Belgium, the Atomium was the symbol.
Shopping is another very popular activity in Belgium, and there are many fancy
designer shops throughout the cities. The theater is a very important part of
Belgian culture in day-to-day life.
Belgium is divided into three regions. (Flanders, Wallonia, and Brussels)
Each region speaks a different language and is given some authority over the
people. Each region has a Council and an Executive. Belgium is a country
with ten million people in it. Belgium has the one of the richest cultures in
the world.
