  • Call for Participation by Hurston Scholars
  • Within the context of our enhanced awareness of Zora Neale Hurston's interest in religion, myth and cosmology, the Hurston Festival issues a call for papers on these themes for its ninth annual festival, January 29 - February 1, 1998. Such papers need not focus primarily on Hurston and may refer to any part of the African world. They should, however, show some relationship to her demonstrated interests.

    Only 250-word, one-page abstracts in English will be considered.
